ABOUT THE SYSTEM

“TRANSPORT.MD” is the oldest information system of the international freight traffic in South-Eastern Europe established in 1999. The system provides the means of exchange of the information between freight owners and transportation companies in the real-time mode.

The goal of the project is designing the effective model of the communication of the freight market participants through the Internet network. The system provides the possibility of working in it to the fee-paying users as well as to the free users and even to the unauthorized ones!

The users have the possibility of working in 4 modes:

 1. Guest (unauthorized user)

 2. Free authorized user

 3. Fee-paying authorized user. Packet “Silver”

 4. Fee-paying authorized user. Packet “Gold”

       The mode “guest” provides the means of looking through the full information about free freight, free transport and advertisements published in the system with the 3 hours delay from the moment of their real appearance in the system (except the information from the user of the packet “Gold” – their orders will be seen by any users from the moment of publication) and does not allow introducing into the system their own information regarding freight, transport and advertisements.

Using the mode “free authorized user” you have the possibility both to look through the information, like users working in the mode “guest”, and to publish advertisements and information about freight, transport yourself.

But you will be able to work in the system the most effectively having become a fee-paying authorized user of the packet “Gold” or “Silver”! You can learn more details about all facilities, advantages and cost of the packets in the section “Types of the Users and Their Possibilities” in the left menu of the site! The information in the section is arranged as a comparative table for the easier perception, in the table there are reflected in details the possibilities of each type of users. There are set commentaries to the table below it. 

Thousands of companies in tens countries all over the world successfully use the possibilities of the system. Information regarding free freight and free transport is entered into the system practically every minute in the real-time mode and becomes available for users at once. All orders and advertisements coming into the system are looked through by an administrator that guarantees the high quality of the information placed. Looking through the user’s orders for freight and transport you get a real-time access to the contact details of the companies which place their information in the system and you can directly get in touch with them bypassing the numerous chains of intermediaries. You get double profit: you save your money and time.

Tip of the Day! Before starting the practical work in the system we strongly recommend you to get acquainted with the section “Instructions for Use” in the left menu of the site. There you will receive the necessary information about requirements to your computer and its software and you will also get acquainted with the instructions on correct publication of your information about freight, transport, and advertisements.

The system offers a lot of useful and accessible services and it may seem to be difficult for an unprepared user. That is why we recommend you to read thoroughly the instructions set below on this page. This will significantly ease your work with the system in future.

Tip of the Day! When there appear difficulties in your work, search for the sign “?” in the upper right corner of the monitor in any section of the site. This is aid that will help you to understand how to correctly and effectively use this section! Pressing the sign “?” you will get all necessary instructions.

Ever-increasing Internet auditory and growing efficiency of using the network for business purposes allow us to regard “TRANSPORT.MD” as a powerful means for the work of transportation companies, individual freight carriers and freight owners. From the structural point of view, the system consists of two databases:

- databases with free freight which needs to be transported;

- databases with free transport which needs free freight.

Having access to the system and spending minimal time you can use the following possibilities of the system:

• The section “Freight Search” provides the means of finding free freight to/ from the countries you are interested in.  Both authorized and unauthorized users can use this section. The instruction on using this section can be viewed here >>>
• The section “Transport Search” provides the means of finding free transport which needs free freight to/ from the countries you are interested in.   Both authorized and unauthorized users can use this section. The instruction on using this section can be viewed here >>>
• The section “All Orders” is a summary table of all the orders for free freight and free transport which are present in the system. In a table there is presented the information on the national transportations, in another one – the information on the international transportations.  The section is convenient for the users who have a great need in freight or transport from/ to different countries of the world very much. It gives an idea of the general Geography of the transportations and is, in its own way, a combination of the sections “Freight Search” and “Transport Search”. The information in this section can be viewed by directly pressing the figures which show the number of orders for freight and transportation existing in the system on one or another certain country. • The section “Advertisements Viewing” provides the means of viewing all the advertisements on certain subjects existing in the system.  Both authorized and unauthorized users can use this section. The instruction on using this section can be viewed here >>>
• The section “Add Freight” provides the means of adding orders for the transportation of your freight by transport facilities from/ to any countries of the world (including also national transportations). After you have published the order, it is automatically entered the general freight database and immediately becomes available for the users of the system (for both the authorized and unauthorized ones). We pay your attention to the fact that after publishing the order for your freight the system will immediately and automatically choose for you free transport which is ready to carry the freight in your direction and terms. For this purpose you have to look through the subsection “Coincidence with Your Freight” which is situated in the section “My Orders”. Only authorized users can use this section. • The section “Add Transport” provides the means of adding the orders for your free transport which needs free freight from/ to any countries of the world (including also national transportation). After you have published the order, it is automatically entered the general transport database and immediately becomes available for the users of the system (for both the authorized and unauthorized ones). We pay your attention to the fact that after publishing the order for your transport the system will immediately and automatically choose for you free freight which must be carried in your direction and terms. For this purpose you have to look through the subsection “Coincidence with Your Transport” which is situated in the section “My Orders”. Only authorized users can use this section. • The section “Add Advertisements” allows you to add your advertisements concerning specific subjects. Only authorized users can use this section. The instruction on using this section can be viewed here >>>
• The section “Main Page” (which is indicated in the authorized users’ version) allows an authorized user to see the status of his advertisements and orders for freight and transport the term of which has already expired or will expire tomorrow, and, if necessary, to activate them pressing directly the figures; to see the last 5 entries of freight and transport and, if necessary, to view them pressing directly the names of the countries. The subsection “There have appeared the offsetting orders in the system since your last visit” allows a user who has published his orders for freight and transport before, to see the counter-offers for freight and transport which have emerged into the system and have been published by other users since his last visit. There are subsections “New” (which have appeared since your last session), “Today” and “Total” in the right menu of this section. They show a user the amount of freight, transport, and the number of advertisements existing in the system for the respective period of time. • The section “Favourites”. Every authorized user has the possibility to add any information about freight, transport or advertisements to the section “Favourites”. It is a kind of a user’s personal box in the system where he can keep the information he is interested in, until it is deleted by a user from the system databases. Only authorized users can use this section. The instruction on using this section can be viewed here >>>
• The section “My Log-in” allows users who are already logged in, to change, if necessary, their registration data (telephones, addresses, contact persons’ names, etc.) without logging in again. Only authorized users can use this section. The instruction on using this section can be viewed here >>>
• The section “My orders” allows users who are already registered, to control the status of their orders for freight, transport and advertisements or, if necessary, to edit (change dates, weight, volume, etc.) or delete them. Editing an order means its automatic renewal.  Renewal of an order means that your order that has been published before, will be reflected in the system as a newly appeared one. If your order has lost its relevance (you have found transport for your freight, you have found freight for your transport, the transportation has been cancelled due to some reasons), delete your order from the system.  The administration and users of the system are interested in the pr esence in the system of the exclusively relevant orders. In this section you can also look through the subsection “Coincidence with Your Transport” (if in the system there has been published your order for freight transportation, for example, from Romania to Russia on a certain day (days), the system will automatically select for you free transport which is ready to execute the transportation from Romania to Russia during this period of time, having simplified in this way your work in the search of a carrier for your freight). You can also look through the subsection “Coincidence with Your Freight”. The subsection works in the same way as the above-described subsection “Coincidence with Your Transport” does; but now for your free transport there will found free freight from the country it is kept in to the country (countries) you are interested in. • The section “Mailing List” allows any authorized user to subscribe for the reception of the e-mail notifications when in the system there are entered orders for freight or transport he is interested in. The directions are specified by a user himself. Only authorized users can use this section. The instruction on using this section can be viewed here >>>
